3 Tools You Need For Affiliate Marketing
The other day I was watching a home improvement show on cable. The remodeler was installing a new deck, with
an awesome built-in grill. I could practically taste the burgers and barbeque already.
But then he said something like, "Backyard parties and dinners from the grill won't happen unless you begin
building your deck with the right tools."
The right tools... that's what my grandfather always said when I was growing up.
It didn't matter if I was making a soap box derby car, a napkin holder for a mother's day present, or helping

popped up about Tiger Woods and how he has maintained focus despite extra distractions this year. If I had a
blog in the golf niche this would be good material for a post about how to remain focused. You can also sign up
to have Google Alerts send you an email with stories for certain phrases.
* WordPress plugins. From SEO to getting rid of spam comments, plugins are tools that will ensure that your blog
operates at maximum efficiency.
Most of the above tools are free (some plugins have a small fee). All of them save you valuable time.

For someone just getting into CPA marketing, the variety of different offer types can be confusing – it might seem overwhelming at first to try and figure out what all the different offers are.
Some common types you will find in nearly any CPA network’s portfolio are free-trial offers, zip-submit offers, and e-mail-submit offers.
Let’s begin with free-trial offers, because they are so popular among both advertisers and the marketers who promote them. The reason is simple: These free trial offers are often completely free to the customer, except for a small fee (as little as $1.95 or so) for shipping and handling. The customer gets a product they are interested for an incredibly low price, and the advertiser gets a valuable lead.
As a marketer, you might be wondering how this benefits you. Even though the offer is free, or nearly free, companies are often more than willing to pay generous commissions (as much as $20-$100 per lead). The reason is that many of these free trial offers are forced continuity programs – by accepting the free trial offer, the customer is agreeing to pay for more of the product when the free trial is up, often through a monthly auto-ship program.
All you need to worry about, however, is delivering the lead – retaining the customer is up to the advertiser. These offers convert extremely well, although they are generally low-paying – you might earn as little as 75 cents to $1 for a zip submit, but if you can drive a lot of traffic to them even small change can add up to big money.
Another similar kind of offer is an “e-mail submit.” You have probably heard many marketers say that “the money is in the list,” but building a list of prequalified buyers can be tough, and so companies are willing to pay a lot for the right e-mail addresses. That's where you come in: All the visitor needs to do is enter their e-mail address and you get paid. Like a zip-submit, the payouts can be a little low, but you can make up for that in volume.

Traditionally, advertisers have had to pay advertising agencies to design advertising campaigns for them. JV Partnerships are about partnerships
Throughout the Internet marketing industry, JV's or Joint Ventures have become extremely popular, and are one of the fastest ways to build a list, increase traffic and increase sales. But there are many marketers who don't understand the concepts behind a joint venture.
It's about your JV partners.
If you are getting ready to launch a new site or product, your best bet for success is to recruit JV's to help you promote it. What you need to realize is that, just like your regular affiliates, you must consider your JV's WIIFM (what's in it for me) factor. Why should your JV partners promote for you? I will not promote for someone as a JV partner unless I can review what I am promoting. Remember this when recruiting JV's. Giving away a few of your products free, or giving away a few paid memberships, can lead to substantial sales as your JV's promote for you.
2) Increased commissions. -- Your JV's should have a commission higher than your regular affiliates. If you are looking for the logic in this, stop and think...
You have a $47 product and you pay your regular affiliates 50% (which gives you $23.50 of the sale.) Now, some of your affiliates may not promote successfully. Many might not even have a list.
Take the same product, but give your JV partners 75% commission ($11.75 for yourself). Most likely, the JV's you recruit will be somewhat established in the industry, will likely have a list in the 4-5 figure range, and will have access to better promotional methods than most of your regular affiliates.
If you recruit a JV partner with a list of 5,000 and just 3% of them make a purchase (that's 150 purchases), your cut of the sales will be $1762.50. And, that's just from one JV partner. Recruit even more and your profit potential grows substantially! Not too bad for letting someone else do the work.
3) Reward your JV Partners -- You can offer cash prizes, a higher JV commission level, free advertising via your site or list, or anything else you can think of. The important thing is to keep your partners happy.
The point here is to treat your JV partners like gold. They are a valuable asset and can be the life blood of your business.

To get the most out of social marketing, you need to be active in many (and I do mean, many) networks. These include blogging sites, online communities, micro-blogging sites, video sharing sites, and others. But, trying to post to these sites one at a time would take forever. To make this process easier, take a look at some of the sites below:
